1-Where can I buy groceries and shop near the villa?

In the neighboring cross of Firgas, in the street Afurgad, 2, 35432 is Víveres Guillen from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturdays, on Sundays they also open but the hours are from 8:00 to 13:30. Across the street on the opposite corner is another grocery store called Víveres Cerpa, it has similar conditions to the first one and similar hours. Both establishments are located 7 minutes by car on the GC-30 from the Villa.
If we want to make a larger purchase, whether it be groceries, clothes or other belongings, we always have the city of Arucas, 4.3 km from the town on the GC and which is approximately 10 minutes away, Arucas is a large population of 38 inhabitants and there you will find practically everything.
As less populous alternatives you also have the city of Valleseco at 4.1 km and 8 minutes and Firgas at 6.4 km and 11 minutes.

2. We would like to buy some fruits/vegetables not at the big supermarkets, but at some smaller local farmers markets. where can we find some market like this?

10 minutes from the Villa you have the Valleseco ecological market, it is very small but it is worth visiting. However, it does have very restricted hours Friday from 10 to 17, Saturday from 10 to 17 and Sunday from 10 to 14. It also has a terrace cafeteria but it is not always open.
